RhinoMe Application — Dr. Mehmet Erdil ENT Clinic
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RhinoMe mobile application ("the App") and related services provided by Dr. Mehmet Erdil ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Important — what this app is and is not:
RhinoMe is a consultation booking and information tool. The video meeting with Dr. Erdil is a pre-surgery consultation; the actual surgery is performed in person at the clinic in Istanbul. The App is not a telemedicine, diagnostic, or remote-treatment service.
1. Description of Service
The App provides the following services:
- Educational Content: Articles and post-surgery care guides related to rhinoplasty.
- Before & After Gallery: Real patient results, published only with explicit patient consent.
- Consultation Booking: Schedule a video consultation appointment with Dr. Mehmet Erdil and pay the associated fee through the App.
- Surgery Scheduling: If, after the video consultation, Dr. Erdil indicates you are a candidate for surgery, the App lets you select a surgery date and view the bank-transfer instructions for the deposit.
- Appointment Management: View your upcoming and past appointments, receive reminders, and add appointments to your phone's calendar.
Important: The App is an information and booking tool. It does not provide automated medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or remote care. All medical assessments and decisions are made personally by Dr. Mehmet Erdil during the video consultation and during in-person evaluation at the clinic.
2. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name, date of birth, and email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
2.1 Tiered Access

2.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App may not be used by anyone under the age of 18 under any circumstances, including with the consent or supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians may not create accounts on behalf of minors. If we discover that an account has been created for or is being used by a person under 18, we will close the account and delete all associated data.
3. Video Consultation Terms
When you book a video consultation through the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The consultation is a pre-surgery information meeting only and does not constitute a definitive medical diagnosis, prescription, or remote treatment.
- The consultation does not guarantee surgical candidacy. Final surgical assessment requires an in-person examination at the clinic in Istanbul.
- Each consultation session is 30 minutes in duration.
- Video consultations are conducted via Zoom. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a device with camera and microphone capabilities.
- Booking and attending a consultation does not create an obligation for either party to proceed with surgery.
- Any clinical information that the clinic team needs (medical history, medications, photos, etc.) is collected outside the App, before or during the consultation. The App itself does not collect this information.
4. Professional Time Reservation Fee
The consultation fee is a professional time reservation fee, not a deposit toward surgery. By booking a consultation, you are reserving a specific time slot in Dr. Erdil's schedule.
4.1 Refund Policy

4.2 Rescheduling
You may reschedule your consultation once, at any time before the scheduled appointment begins. Rescheduling is available directly through the App. After using your one-time reschedule, any further changes require cancelling the existing booking and creating a new appointment. The cancellation policy above applies.
5. Surgery Scheduling & Deposit
If, after the video consultation, Dr. Erdil indicates you are a suitable candidate for surgery:
- You will be able to select a surgery date through the App.
- A deposit payment is required to confirm your surgery date, payable via bank transfer (EFT/wire transfer) outside the App.
- Deposit amount, bank details, and payment instructions are displayed in the App.
- Your surgery date is confirmed only after the deposit is verified by the clinic.
- The actual surgery is performed in person at the clinic in Istanbul. The App does not perform any clinical procedure.

6. Payment Processing
Consultation payments are processed through PayTR, a licensed payment service provider in Türkiye. By making a payment, you agree to the following:
- Your credit/debit card details are processed directly by PayTR and are never stored by the App or by us.
- You agree to PayTR's terms of service and privacy policy.
- Transaction records are retained in accordance with Turkish tax regulations.
- Consultation fees may be displayed in US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), or Turkish Lira (TRY) depending on your selected currency. Currency conversion rates for international cards are determined by your card issuer.
7. Medical Disclaimer
This App is for information and booking purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or remote (telemedicine) care. The video consultation is a pre-surgery information meeting; the actual medical service (rhinoplasty surgery) is performed in person at the clinic in Istanbul. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions. The educational content (articles, care guides) in the App is general information and should not replace professional medical advice.
The before-and-after photos in the gallery represent actual patient outcomes and have not been digitally altered. Individual results may vary. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
8. Information You Provide Through the App
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the personal information you enter through the App (name, email, phone, country, city, occupation).
- By providing this information, you grant us a limited license to use it for the purpose of coordinating your consultation booking, sending appointment communications, and processing your payment.
- The App does not collect your medical history, patient photos, or any clinical record. It collects a handwritten consent signature image solely to document your acceptance of the video consultation information and consent form. Any clinical information needed for the consultation is collected separately by the clinic team, outside the App.
- Photos used in the before-and-after gallery are submitted by patients who have given separate, explicit written consent for publication.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. Key points:
- We comply with GDPR and KVKK (Turkish Data Protection Law).
- Your personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored on infrastructure operated directly by us in Türkiye. We do not use Firebase, Google Cloud, AWS, or any other public cloud database provider for your personal data.
- We never sell your personal data to third parties.
- You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data.
10. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the App (Profile → Delete Account) or by contacting us at info@drerdil.com.
Upon account deletion:
- Your account access and personal profile data are permanently removed, and historical appointment records are anonymized.
- Push notification tokens are revoked.
- Payment transaction records are retained in pseudonymized form for 10 years as required by Turkish tax regulations.
- This action is irreversible.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
- We are not responsible for technical failures, internet disruptions, or third-party service outages (including Zoom and PayTR).
- Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including articles, before-and-after gallery images, logos, and software — is the property of Dr. Mehmet Erdil and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without prior written consent.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting, and your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
